- Severe food poisoning during a trip to Costa Rica, followed by a visit to the ER, IV antibiotics, and two weeks of oral antibiotics.
- Worsening symptoms after I returned home: severe distension (I looked six months pregnant), urgent trips to the bathroom, brain fog, disrupted sleep, worsening anxiety, and increasing food sensitivities.

We’ll dive deep into your health history during your initial consultation to understand your unique situation. This analysis guides what tests to order so we can understand the root cause of your symptoms. You’ll complete testing during the first month.
You’ll receive an in-depth analysis and summary of your test results. This summary will lay out a step-by-step roadmap to healing. You’ll also receive a detailed protocol that includes nutrition recommendations, nutraceuticals, and gut healing support.

Are sessions offered virtually or in person?
All sessions are held virtually via secure video conference within the HIPPA-compliant client portal or by phone. I do not offer in-person sessions at this time.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not participate in any insurance plans. However, insurance may cover our sessions if you have out-of-network benefits to see a dietitian. I can provide you with a “superbill” after each visit that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Your insurance reimbursement may be lower than the fee for the appointment. I am not involved in any way with how much your insurance reimburses. You must check with your insurer to determine if they provide out-of-network benefits to see a dietitian via telehealth. Please contact your insurance company directly for any questions about insurance benefits and reimbursements.
The best way to check your reimbursement eligibility for out-of-network providers is to call your insurance company and ask them what your out-of-network benefits are. Be sure to tell them that you are not expecting insurance coverage but reimbursement for a percentage of the cost of telehealth visits. Most people with PPO plans can get some insurance reimbursement for visits with out-of-network providers.
Clients are responsible for payment in full at the time of service. If your insurance chooses to reimburse you, they will send you a check for the reimbursement amount. The amount of reimbursement will vary depending on your insurance plan.

How will I receive my test results?
Test results will be posted and available in your online portal.
Results will be posted to your portal asap. Please note it may take up to 4 weeks to receive certain results.
